The difference between Anyplace Control Editions

Basic Plan allows you to connect to remote PC using IP address connection and connection via ID-number. Account Connection service is not included into the package. Basic Plan is a one-time purchase package for the life-time use. You should purchase as many licenses as many PCs you are going to access as the Edition is licenses on license per Host module basis.

Connection via IP-address is good for a local network. To control a remote PC via the Internet you should use public IP address, because private IP (192.168.X.X) won't suit for this purpose. IP address connection via the Internet requires an appropriate router and firewall configuration.
NOTE: the Company (Anyplace Control Software) does not provide router configuration support. In case you are not able to access a remote PC by IP address, please, consider either connection via ID-number (it is good for Internet, but for is not good to control unattended remote PCs) or Account Connection service that is present in Premium Plan that would overcome IP address connection issue and can be used to control unattended remote PCs.

Premium Plan allows you to connect to remote PC by IP address, ID-number and via Account Connection service. The number of licenses you purchase means the number of PCs you may access, i.e. with 2 licenses you may connect to 2 PCs only (any connection mode for each PC).
Premium Plan has an annual subscription fee for Account Connection service, whereas IP/ID connections are for life-time use. If you do not want to extend your subscription, you may cancel autorenewal system and continue remote connection by IP/ID.
Premium Plan package does not allow you to transfer the license from one PC to another. To perform that you should get a HelpDesk Edition.

HelpDesk Edition was developed for those people who run a remote assistance business or need to change remote PCs frequently. The Edition allows you to control an unlimited number of remote PCs.

Economical HelpDesk allows you to control unlimited number of remote PCs from single Admin computer using IP address and connection via ID-number. Payment is one-time and no annual fees.

Small HelpDesk includes all possibilities of Economical Helpdesk Plan and additional Online Account Connection service for 1-year period: you may control up to 10 remote PCs at a time via Online Account, but you can delete any PCs from accont and add new instead.

Medium HelpDesk - the same as Small Helpdesk, but it doesn't limit you with the number of Admin modules. They are unlimited. Also the package offers you up to 50 concurrent connections to remote PCs via Online Account and no limitations for other connection modes.
If 50 concurrent connections do not meet your requirements, please, consider our Unlimited Corporate Edition

1) Basic Plan is a one-time purchase, Premium Plan has an annual subscription for Account Connection service.
2) Basic Plan does not include Account Connection service to connect to remote PC via the Internet. This option is present in Premium Plan.

"Life-time" refers to "IP address connection" and "Computer ID connection" modes.

Renewal price for Account Connection subscription is the same as within the initial purchase. You should buy the license with its full price. Life-time use (without any annual fees) of Online Account Connection service is allowed in Corporate Edition of Anyplace Control.

Unfortunately we do not accept monthly payment. Account Connection service is paid on annual subscription basis.

In Basic and Premium Plan:

You are limited with the number of remote PCs you may connect to. The number of PCs to control equals the number of licenses you have purchased. You are not entitled to freely transfer the license from one Host PC to another (license transfer is allowed only in exceptional case and only after contacting to our sales department). You can purchase additional licenses by contacting the Anyplace Control sales department.

As an exception "Computer ID Connection" mode allows connection to non-licensed remote PCs in cases of one-time spontaneous connections to clients. Connection to non-licensed Host PCs will have limit: 15 hours each month when connection by ID is used.

The number of Admin modules is unlimited, i.e. you may install it on any PC you would like to access remote PC from. Thus you have to purchase as many licenses, as many unique remote PCs you would like to connect to.

In HelpDesk Edition

If your application requires remote technical support, if you attend to new customers every day, and you don't want to purchase additional licenses to connect to new PCs, the HelpDesk Plan is right for you. With this plan you will be able to connect to an unlimited number of Host PCs (in any Connection mode). The Admin Module does require registration, while the Host Modules do not require registration.

You are limited with the number of Admin modules (Small Business). Also you are limited with the number of remote Host PCs that can stay online in your account SIMULTANEOUSLY (Small Business: 10 Host PCs, Medium Business: 50 Host PCs), but no limitation to total number of remote PCs.
