Silent installation problem

Postby tenonten » 24 Sep 2011, 18:59

hello

im sakib,

this softwere is one of the best softwere i've ever used. but im gonna point out one week point of this soft. silent installation is a great part of this soft. but is it really silent?

i created silent istall.exe file, somehow sent it to target pc. but when the target pc user run that exe file ,another file appaers with same name. and when that user run the same named file, an installation wizard appaers. on that wizard he will see some strange things like anyplace control, host ,admin ,email id,remote pc etc. that will make him know that someone is trying to control his pc remotely.

so how can u say its silent installation?

i think it should be like---
if target pc click that exe file nothing should appaer.

you gys should think about this problem.

evrything alse is supperbly done.keep going...

So, you would like to send remote user an exe file to click on it and to install the software the user has no clue about?

...Yes sir. This is actually the only reason my mate and I will not going to buy your software and will be paying someone else £100.00 instead. My mate's BRAND NEW laptop and wireless net card were nicked a couple of days ago and O2 won't help even though they could easily track the location and metro police said they cannot do anything unless they get a solid lead like the computer is sold at a pawn shop or the thief is spotted with it and notifies them. O2 said all they will do is disable the card if he wants, but they won't use their activity to track the computer.

However, my mate knows the IP address associated with that card and has his e-mail configured on that computer which the thief is trying to use for scams it seems saying they're him and he's stuck in india and needs 2000 quid to get out.

So this is the point: If I could send an e-mail to that account with a file that when run gave no indication or prompting at all, I could then monitor their activity until they revealed their location and/or identity on his computer and direct the authorities there.

To use remote desktop control software you should either install the software or run the client's module on a remote PC. There is no ability to perform that from Admin side.
