Connection problem

Postby haenlein » 26 Jul 2010, 10:33

Dear all,

since this morning (at around 06:00) I have issues connecting to my online account on both the remote and admin PC.

Everything was working fine since yesterday evening (at around 22:00). Since this morning, I get an error message "Unable to connect" in my "Anyplace Control 5.0 (Admin Module)". I have not made any changes on neither the remote PC nor the admin PC since. Also the Internet connection is still the same. I'm using the remote account access for about one month now without problems.

Could you please come back to me urgently with some workaround as I need to access some files on my remote PC and am currently abroad?

Thanks very much for your help in advance,

Michael

We are trying to work out the issue, as the company we rent our servers at has lost a connection to their servers due to a God's will.

Please, take our apologies for any inconveniences you have suffered.

Thanks very much for the update!

Do you have any idea until when the issue might be fixed?
Or is there a possibility to add a second online account to my subscription which runs on a different server?

Account is running on one server with all its' licenses in it.
You can't get another license on another server.

We are trying to do all our best, I guess their support center is already fed up with our calls and their mail boxes is spammed with our support request.

At the moment we are already looking for alternative solution of placing our servers somewhere else. It can take a time (.

Nevertheless we are trying to perform everything with a maximal speed. Again, we would like to ask for apology for this accident.

Dear all,

unfortunatelly the same problem happened this morning: No connection with the online account possible although everything worked fine until yesterday evening and I did not change any settings in the meantime. Could you please let me know whether this is again a connection issue from your side? I'm a bit irritated that this issue is coming up twice over a timeframe of a couple of days ...

Thanks,

Michael

This time it was not a server's fall, it was working in a normal regime. We haven't received any complain.
Which Account Name do you use? Are you able to establish a connectionnow?

I do wonder whether this issue has occurred in some form again this evening Sat Sept 4th. I have not been able to connect with our registered account since about 20:30 (GMT +1)but can with a newly created trial account. Anyplace is usually so reliable that an outage becomes inconvenient!! Luckly we can switch the clients over to the trial for a day or so but perhaps you might have a look at this.

Thanks

No, there were no issues.

Maybe there is an issue with your account. Are you using the one that is given in registration letter?
What is the reference number of your paid order?
Did you contact our support team?
