General information questions about Anyplace Control software

Your domain is blocked in my company..

Postby al_ibrahem » 20 May 2012, 07:23

Hi..

I tried Anyplace Control software and it is very useful for me..
On 1st of May I bought the PREMIUM version and it was fine..
Now, unfortunately my company blocked your website ( www.anyplace-control.com ) with unclear reason..
And then, anything related to your domain is blocked..

So, do you have a solution for this case?!

Thanks..

Hello.
Perhaps your company doesn't allow remote access in security purposes or because of internal policy of your company?
Companie's policy sometimes is very strange.
For example in China people can't access "google.com" at all:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_websites_blocked_in_the_People's_Republic_of_China

What is your company?
It was blocked by Admin of your firm or by your Internet service provider?
Also what is your country? Is it China?

Note: we have another domains with alternative software (similar to Anyplace Control).
You can try them and if you like them we will provide you with free license:

1) Remote Desktop Control: remote-desktop-control.com
2) Remote Control PC: remote-control-pc.com

Also there is another solution.
you still can access anyplace-control.com via Proxy server (but not directly).
Please try to search in google how to access blocked web-site via Proxy server.

It was work fine...

Note: I tried many software before APC, but also all of them are blocked..
when I tried APC it worked fine..

As far as I understand, you try to connect to Online Account via Proxy server? In the Admin module (on the log in window) you will see "Connect via Proxy" option.
Do you use this option?
You will need to enter correct login and password to connect via Proxy (if Proxy is protected by passowrd).
I recommend you to test Proxy connection via Internet Explorer or FireFox or other browser:
1) Try to visit any web-site local in your country via Proxy
2) Try to visit our web-site via Proxy. If it doesn't work, it means that your Admin has blocked connection via Proxy server also and it is bad (but you can try our alternative software)
3) If connection via Proxy works in browser, then you can try connection in Admin module using the same settings of Proxy (login, password...).

As I informed you before, we have another software: www.remote-desktop-control.com
Perhaps this domain is not blocked by your company. Please try it

Yaaa.. I tried to connect to online account via proxy and I filled all fields ( proxy, port, username and password )..
And that what I mean, when I browse any website via the proxy it is ok..
But when I browse your website it is blocked..
I tried other software and the same problem..
There is a filter on our network to block any domain contains some keywords ( control, remote, twitter, youtube .... etc)

So, do you have solution for this case ?!

Yes, I have solution.
Please find our software "Remote Desktop Control" in the internet (not on our web-site).
For example here: http://www.download.com
This software is used domain name "rdc-gateway.info" for connection to account server. This domain should be allowed in your company (I hope).

Thank you for your reply..

I tested the domain : rdc-gateway.info and it is not blocked ( via browser )..
Then I downloaded Remote Desktop Control and installed it (Host Module on my office pc & Admin Module on my home pc )..

But when I run the Admin Module on my home pc, the following message appears:
Evaluation period has expired. Please, register the software

That is because I used the same software before in free-trial period in my home network..

So, how can I tested it to ensure it works fine?

Note:
If you can transfer my license from any place control to remote desktop control (online geteway version ) , that is fine ( I don't get any benefit from any place control now )..
