What Exactly Do I Need

I occasionally need ot support two elderly friends who could not set up any form of direct PC connection. I want to be able to send them a URL in a simple email they could click and then be able to control their computers (with their permission). I understnad there is a yearly fee of about $30 to use the server but what else do I need to purchase? Admin/Host software etc. I really need to make this a simple and foolproof as possible. I access the internet through a fast Cable modem behind a gateway/router - they subscribe to DSL services.
