Subsricption expired?

I renewed my purchase today and the software is not working, when I try to use the software I get ' License restriction: subscription has expired, please, renew ' now this is very odd as my subscription should be good until May 13 2014 as that is when I purchased the software last year, and I renewed that purchase today as to have a seamless transition.
I have inputed the license number provided in my email from purchasing the software today.
This is installed on a Windows 7 32bit system that is a fresh from scratch install.

The software is now working with the new license code that was emailed to me today.
