Power Management
Under the Power Management tab we
have united operations that add a great deal of automation
to the system administrator's work:

Power On
This feature enables you to switch
on all the remote PCs that have Host modules and are located
in the same LAN. This can be useful in administrating large
networks where each PC has several user and all power on operations
are conducted by the system administrator (e.g. at school).
Note: an obligatory condition for
using this feature is the "Wake On LAN" function
enabled in the BIOS settings.

Shut Down
As we have mentioned before there
are such types of networks where all power management is conducted
by the system administrator personally. And going round the
building to switch off several tens or hundreds of PCs at
the end of the working day is more than tiresome.
Using the Shut Down function of Anyplace
Control a system administrator can easily switch off all the
PCs in a click.

Restart and Log Off
Not very seldom admins, especially,
at school need to re-start the PC or do a log off operation
to change the user (e.g. change the user for the next class).
Using either the restart or the log off feature of Anyplace
Control an admin can cope with this task in a minute.

Disable Input and Monitor
It is a usual situation that if the
administrator takes control over a remote PC during the dinner
break to fix the issue employees shocked with the mouse pointer
moving independently on their screen switch off the computer
and report of having a virus.
In order to prevent users from shock
and administrator from using the control over the necessary
machine we have introduced the "Disable Input and Monitor"
feature.
By pressing the corresponding button
on the remote control window toolbar administrator easily
darkens remote PC screen and if users are warned about the
fix that is going to take place during the launch they will
abide until he is given the control over his PC back.
Disable Input and Monitor feature
comes handy when pupils after the end of the class don't leave
their working placing and start playing computer games or
surfing the web. In this case even appearance of the school
principal can hardly help. But Anyplace Control offers you
a far effective instrument for revival of the discipline.
Disable the inputs and the monitor of the remote PC and all
troublemakers will have nothing to do but leave.
